My love of bread started when my parents bought a bakery and cafe when I was a eleven. The bread was made in a fantastic family bakery ER Tanner, which sadly no longer exists. There was one loaf they made which stood out in my memory and I have recreated, my signature loaf, ‘The Nuttimalt’. I started out as an adult in catering and worked in kitchens and front of house in Bournemouth. I was briefly a pastry chef in a hotel before embarking on a long nursing career which led me to acupuncture and naturopathy. After an interesting career, here I am once again fascinated with bread! Making sourdough is a joy, a business which has grown out of love. From me to you.
